He laid upon the soft, white bed,
Closed his eyes, and rest his head.
Soon he was asleep,
Not aware of who was about to creep.
By the morn
He had awoke
Only to find his soft skin torn.
To calm his nerves he took a smoke,
Hoping this was some sick joke.
He soon forgot that ugly gash
And life went on.
His younger brother invited him to crash
At his house with the big, big lawn.
A few hours later he arrived.
His brother rushed out when he saw the bags,
And so of the luggage the man was deprived.
Into the house the younger rushed, not wanting to lag
For he knew, oh he knew
That when he was asleep,
Someone would start to creep.
Time flew by til midnight struck.
The elder brother went to retire
While the younger was slowly running out of luck.
Soon the younger felt something dire.
He slowly turned and--
With a yawn, the elder stretched-
Ack! He doubled over in pain.
He lifted his shirt
And what he saw nearly made him wretch.
A stitched up line
Oozed a liquid like thick, red wine.
He let a scream pierce the air
And stumbled through the three o'clock light.
In the dark of the room
He heard a drip! drip! drip!
The brother searched for the switch, with nothing to assume
And with a flip!
And a hum
The lights revealed what had come.
There stood a teen
Whom the elder brother had never seen
With a blood-stained black hoodie,
A pair of ripped jeans all bloody,
A large knife on the floor.
The boy looked up
And what the elder brother saw made him want to throw up.
Oh God--was he eating kidneys?
This is a sick ignominy.
The teen threw down his snack
And then the elder brother noticed what this boy lacked.
Through a creepy blue mask
Stared two empty pits of black.
The eyes were gone and out dripped gack.
The mysterious ooze was thick and black.
The boy pointed up to the ceiling,
And what the brother saw sent him reeling.
His younger brother pinned up by knives
And carved into this body with no life was
The brother stepped back.
And he understood in a flash.
That previous gash
Came from the killer.
And that pain that made him chiller?
The masked teen stole his kidneys—and ate them.
The elder sibling drew in a sharp gasp
After an elongated time lapse.
The killer only chuckled in a sinister manner.
Since the teen was a planner
He prepared for this.
He lunged forward, to the sole brother
And with blade in hand, finally, both brothers felt Death’s Kiss.
The blue masked boy
Had fun playing with his toys.
But now: time to feast.
So the boy ate the organs of the deceased.
So? What lesson from this story can we reap?
To know that when we are asleep,
Beware of who’s about to creep.
